If your not sure you are ready to rope or work cattle at the Alvord, here is your opportunity to get ready. A lower-key, training environment to learn the "ropes", for those not ready to dive in the deep end!
Topics to be covered:
• Buckaroo etiquette
• Catching horses in a group
• Roping, setting up your shots, handling your rope, dallying
• Cow-work, sorting, reading cattle, working a rodear
• Horsemanship that pertains to ranch work, teaching your horse to travel, etc.
Tuition $2500, includes clinic, a furnished bunkhouse, and lunch & dinner.
